The secret behind Hamikuma's birth has finally been animated! Hamikuma once performed as a sideshow in a traveling circus. His adorable appearance and quirky movements drew large crowds, but the other circus members were jealous of his popularity and feared he would become a star. Faithful to the rumor that he wasn't a real bear, the circus members lured him into a big tent one night and cut open his stomach to find out who was inside...but there was no one inside. To destroy the evidence, the circus members set fire to the tent and buried Hamikuma and himself in the underworld. Hamikuma fell into the underworld, but his ripped open stomach was possessed by the "Death Bringer," which was trying to return to the surface. Hamikuma gained immortality and returned to the surface, but his soul was left behind in the underworld. Hamikuma has returned to the world and is now the star of the show, but there are still various mysterious objects squirming inside his open belly, waiting for an opportunity to come out onto the surface...
